FOO FIGHTERS

     That's an american rock band formed in the city of Seattle, Washington, USA. The band have other stiles of musica, such as post-groung, hard rock and alternative rock. The name is a reference to the term "foo fighter", used by airmen in the Second World War.

     

• FORMATION 

The guitar player and vocalist, Dave Grohl, played in the band Nirvana. After the Kurt Cobain's death, Dave considered to abandon the music. But he couldn't. In 1995, he did a solo album, and decided to form a band for the next. He called some players he knew and so they started. The band realized the first tour that year.
