JUDAS PRIEST

     It’s a British heavy metal band, formed in 1970 by K. K. Downing, Ian Hill, and John Ellis. They met each other in their early childhood growing up on the Yew Tree estate in West Bromwich. Downing and Hill became close friends in their early teens, when they shared similar musical interests and learned to play instruments. The band was founded in October 1970 in Birmingham, West Midlands, England, after a local ensemble named Judas Priest (from a Bob Dylan's song) disbanded.

• IAN HILL

     Ian Frank Hill was born in 1951, Jan 20^th. He’s the bass player of the band, and the sole constant member following the departure of K.K. Downing. He learned how to play the bass with his father, a former jazz’ bass player.

• ROB HALFORD

     Robert John Arthur "Rob" Halford was born in 1951, Aug 25^th. He’s best known by his incredible voice, ranging ‘till nearly four octaves. He left the band in 1992, going back in 2003. Rob is credited as the first openly gay heavy metal star, having come out in 1998.

• GLENN TIPTON

     Glenn Raymond Tipton is the guitar player and occasional keyboards player of the band. He was born in 1947, Oct 25^th, and when he was five he started to learn to play the piano. He learned to play the guitar with his brother when he was nineteen.

• SCOTT TRAVIS

     Scott Travis was born in 1961, Sep 6^th. He played in a lot of bands since 1980’s, and joined  Judas Priest in 1989, when Dave Holland left  citing personal reasons. Scott also plays at the band Racer X.

• RICHIE FAULKNER

                     

  Richard Ian Faulkner was born in 1980, Jan 1^st. He joined the band in 2011,
  Apr  20^th, replacing K. K. Downing.

• AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS

     Rage Against the Machine has received two Grammy Awards; Best Metal Performance for the song "Tire Me" and Best Hard Rock Performance for "Guerrilla Radio". The band has also received three nominations from the MTV Video Music Awards, but has yet to win an award. In 2008 the band were given a special "Hall of Fame" award from Kerrang!.

    That’s an American heavy metal rock band, formed in 1991, by today’s members. The band stopped playing  in 2000 and only in 2007 the band got back together again. Some of their albums have ranked it as an important rock band.

• ZACH DE LA ROCHA

     Zacarías Manuel "Zack" de la Rocha was Born in 1971, Jan 12, in Long Beach, California. After his parents got  separated, he moved to Irvine, California, when he was only one year old. That city was considered very racist, and going through this terrible situation he metTim Commerford, future Rage Against bandmate.

• TOM MORELLO

    Thomas Baptiste Morello was born in 1964, May 30, in Harlem, NY. He is the guitarist of this great rock band, and he has a unique and creative guitar playing style and he is ranked the twenty-sixth best guitarist of all the time.

• TIM COMMERFORD

    Timothy Robert Commerford was born in 1968, Feb 26, in Irvine, California. He is the bass player of the band and has a lot of nicknames.

• BRAD WILK

    Brad Wilk was born in 1968, Sep 5, in Portland, U.S. He is the drummer of the band and started to play drums when he was thirteen. His influences are John Bonham, Keith Moon and Elvin Jones. He is fan of Van Halen

     It’s a band, formed in 1992, by Serj Tankian and Daron Malakian, when they formed a garage band. They added Dave Hakopyan and Domingo Laranio to the band. In 1994, the band changed its name to System Of a Down and lost the bass and drums players, but got other two.

     Serj Adam Tankian was Born on 1967, August 21th, in Beirut, Lebanon. However, he moved to USA when he was seven and there he stayed. Tankian is ranked 26th in the Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.

• DARON MALAKIAN

     

    Daron Artie Malakian was Born in 1975, in Hollywood. He is a descendant of Armenians, however he is the only member who was born in the U.S.

• SHAVO ODADJIAN

     Shavarsh Robert Odadjian was Born in the city of Yerevan, Armenian SSR, in 1974. He is a designer, too: designated two albums layers. Moreover, he directed two videos of the band.

• JOHN DOLMAYAN

     

      John William Dolmayan was born in the city of Beirute, Lebanon, 1972. When he was five, his country was on a civil war. So, their parents decided to move to USA. John’s dad played sax, and he was the one who gave John the first musical influence.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS

     That’s an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Anthony Kieds (long time vocalist) was Flea and Jack Irons' (former drummer) classmate, at Fairfax High School. Anthony wrote a poem that involved cool sentences and became a song. Based on the unexpected success of the song, they made it the name of the band: The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

     Michael Peter Balzary was Born on October16, 1962, was born in Burwood, Melbourne, Australia. He is known as a great bass player, but the first instrument he played was trumpet. He created, in 2001, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a non-profit music education organization.

• ANTHONY KIEDS

     Anthony Kieds was born on , November 1^st, 1962 in Michigan, USA. He has a long time journey that involves drugs, sex and the rock n’ roll of this great band.

• CHAD SMITH

     Chadwick Gaylord Smith was Born in 1961 on, October 25^th   He joined the band only in 1988, but he is still in the band till nowadays. He got one title in Guinness Book and he was considered the 87^th greatest drummer of all times.

• JOSH KLINGHOFFER

     Josh Adam Klinghoffer is a multi-instrumentalist, but in this band He plays rhythm and solo guitar. He joined the band in 2009, after John Frusciante left the band.

     That’s an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. The musical genres include Trash Metal, hard rock and speed metal, too. The band was formed in 1981, and the history is so fun. What happened was that the drummer, Lars Ulrich, posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, and so James Hetfield and Hugh Tanner answered it. Lars was looking for a band to play; so they needed other players to play with them, too. That’s sure that they could find these important guys; and they found them. This is a little confuse, really, but all great rock bands, probably already got a kind of this problem in the beginning.

• JAMES HETFIELD

     James Alan Hetfield was born in 1963, Aug 3th, in the city of Downey, California. He has awards as a guitar player, such as the second best heavy metal guitar player of all  times and the twentieth best vocalist of all times too.

• LARS ULRICH

     Lars Ulrich is the drummer of the band. He was born in the city of Gentofte, Denmark, in 1963, Dec 26^th. He is one of the first drummers that use two bass drums. He is a really great rock player.

• KIRK HAMMETT

     Kirk Lee Stuart Hammett was born in 1962, Nov 18^th, in San Francisno. In all the best guitar players lists, he is always  included in the top 20 . But we don’t have to see him just in the lists, but see that he plays so well, and, let me tell you, he is a great rock player that plays in a great rock band.

• ROBERT TRUJILLO

    Roberto Agustin Miguel Santiago Samuel Trujillo Veracruz was Born in 1964, Oct 23th. He joined the band in 2003, after he had played in other bands, like Suicidal Tendencies, Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne.

GUNS N' ROSES

     That’s an American hard rock band formed in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, in 1985. The band recorded six studio albums, three EP’s (extended plays) and one live album. The band has had a lot of members all over the time. I and everybody knows that, without no one doubts, it is a really Great Rock Band.

• FORMATION

     The band was formed in 1985, by the actual singer, Axl Rose, the rhythmic guitar player Izzy Stradlin, the guitar player Tracii Guns, Ole Beich (bass) and Robbie Gardner (drums). After sometime (like two or three shows) the bass player, Ole Beich was replaced by Duff McKagan and Tracii Guns was replaced by Slash. That “new” band  showed up in 1986, Jun 6th. After that, the band signed up the tour called Hell Tour. That’s for sure that happened other substitutions. In 1993, July, the band did the last show with, the then known as the old formation.

• MEMBERS

     Nowadays, the band has the following members,  that are Great Rock Players.

• AXL ROSE

     William Bruce Bailey, was Born 1962, Feb 6th. He’s the Singer of Guns N’ Roses. He plays in other bands, too, such as Hollywood Rose,L.A. Guns, Rapidfire. He is one of the two players that is still in the band since the first formation.

• DIZZY REED

     Darren Dizzy Reed was born 1963, Jun 18th, in Illinois. He’s the keyboard player of the band. He entered band just in 1991, and his first show with Guns was at Rock in Rio 2001, in Brazil.

• TOMMY STINSON

     Thomas Eugene Stinson is the bass player of Guns N’ Roses. He was Born in 1969, Oct 6th. He played in other band, before Guns N’ Roses, called The Replacements.

• CHRIS PITMAN

     He was Born in 1962, Nov 16th. He entered band in 1998, when Axl decided to create the new formation of the band. Nowadays, he’s married with a Brazilian, that he met in Rock in Rio 2001. 

• RON BUMBLEFOOT 

    Ronald J Blumenthal was born in 1969, Sep 25^th, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the guitar player of the band. He joined the band in 2006, May 12^th. He has his own band, too, called Bumblefoot.

• FRANK FERRER

     Frank Ferrer is nothing else but the drummer of this great band. He was born in 1966, Mar 25^th. He joined the band in 2006, when  Brain Mantia’s place was vague. As they were friends, Brain invited Frank to join the band, and so he agreed.

• DJ ASHBA

     Daren Jay Ashba was born in 1972, Nov 10^th. He is another guitar player of Guns N’ Roses. He doesn’t play just in Guns N’ Roses: he plays in Beautiful Creatures, BulletBoys, Sixx:A.M.
